You ask the wall,
But the wall can't save
You when you fall.
It can listen to you rant,
But help you out, it can't.

You ask your mum,
But your mum doesn't know
Who you've become.
Useless advice you'll never heed,
Personal stories you don't need.

What do I do -
You ask your friends,
But your friends can't fix
It in the end.
Opinion always gets in the way;
Biased are the answers they say.

What do I do -
You pray to God,
But His ways of answering
Can be broad.
You might misinterpret signs,
Or not see them through eyes so blind.

What do I do -
You ask yourself.
The answer's like a book
On a crowded shelf.
Don't know the right one to choose -
Pick the wrong one and you'll lose.

But you have to take that chance;
Risk a step into Life's dance.
Stop relying on others to help you through;
Start asking yourself, what do I do?
