Below the Ocean
Below the ocean is where I lay
Down with the fish at Briny bay
You miss me but I cant miss you
My journey's ended far too soon
My lifeless eyes gaze on forever
My hands I will wring in nervousness never
My flesh will never again be dry
Not unlike your soon to be sad eye
My feet sway like the cattail reeds
My head rocks but the fish pay me no heed
The sun shines down and warms the water
The frost rolls in and scares the otter
The days fly past
The minutes last
But not for me or my lot
You must enjoy what I haven't got
