Love and Light
Love is like a blanket in which to life.
Ah, covered in warmth: eye to eye.
Wickedness will melt.
Serenity is felt.
Loving, truly caring,
Calming, never scaring.
Beauty and light,
It feels so right.
When will she come to me,
Bringing gifts of warmth and joy?
Must I stay out in the dark:
A cold and lonely boy?
The morning sun brings the hope,
We all crave when facing fears.
We should regard our fortune’s scope,
To stay cheery and hold back tears.
