Tattered and torn
withered and worn
these are my ballet shoes.
Ripped and soiled
rubbed and foiled
these are my ballet shoes.
They don't cease to rip
whenever I trip
I cherish my ballet shoes.
They don't cease to pop
whenever I flop
I cherish my ballet shoes.
I tie the strings
Hope it brings
when I put on my ballet shoes.
I get ready to dance
and hope I have a chance
when I put on my ballet shoes.
