roses are red

Roses are red
Violets are blue
some are sweet
and some are cute
some are nice just like you.
Roses are unique
some roses are pink
beautiful and critiqued
with strokes of color
and petals and thorns
these flowers can survive in storms
on clear sunny days
and even during spring
they stand in the sky
