Just waiting to be seen
Born and lost,
In the world again,
I sit alone,
And stare at him.
The world may spin,
And turn with life,
But not for me,
For I'm barely alive.
I see only him,
and hear his voice,
I'm bound by love,
And I have no choice.
With out his eyes,
Hair and chest.
I'd die alone,
Having lost the best.
But he can't see me,
I was born in vain,
With no one to hold me,
To shield me from the rain.
The night falls black,
And the air turns cold,
As I wait alone,
For the truth to be told.
Again and again,
I say his name,
Wanting to hear it,
For I have no shame.
I am the boy in the shadows,
Pariah in the street,
I haven't a penny,
Or morsel to eat.
My only good reason,
For staying alive,
Is seeing his face,
His chest and eyes.
So I live in his world,
I dream of his dreams,
Staring at his back,
Just waiting to be seen.
