Complications
Goodbye is the hardest part, it’s never forever
But every hello is a fresh new start
We can’t get it together.
We are suddenly deaf and blind,
Minds intertwined
And the only things guiding us are the hands of time.
Why are you so deciduous, so mysterious
You change your mind more than the leaves change with the seasons.
Is it the distance between us that keeps you urging and thirsting
Or does it simply leave you vexing and irking?
Let me know, because my soul is yearning
And right now, it feels as if my heart is spurning.
Although in the end, it’s beautiful, it’s perfect,
Our senses returned and we can hear and see again
So careful yet so adolescent
And it was all completely worth it.
