Writing to You
the page is blank
my mind so scattered
my words are mumbled
my body so distant from this world
where once lived happiness
now lives sadness
faith has gone along with hope
dreams are out of reach
the words I wish to say I can’t
the words I wish to write are never read
even though I see the page
the words screaming loud and clear
you still see a blank page
and where I stand
an empty spot
There are two in the room but you only see one
yourself
