Once and awhile I sit and stare at your picture for hours and think of the time we had together,
I remember when we would go fishing and when we walked in the garden and pick rhubarb,
The only thing I wish I could forget is the day that I found out that you passed away,
At first I couldn’t believe you were gone but once I did the pain and tears came flooding in,
Since your death my heart has gone a little cold,
There are nights when I sit in my bed cry,
But then I realize you will always be there watching over our family and me, and you will always be in my heart.
