New beginnings, a second chance.
A life of hate, suddenly put in check.
Sad as it is, reality starts to sink in.
So much you could have said, now whispers in the wind.
Time to pick up the pieces, one at a time.
Throw the bad memories out, keep the good ones close by.
Letting go and moving on does not mean to forget.
