fight

they attached that weight to my ankle,
dragging me even farther down,
i will not go down with out a fight,
i take a breath, i will not drown,
this is my life,
i intend to live,
even if you twist that blade,
that rough old shiv,
i will fight,
'till the deed is done,
when you have lost,
but no ones won.
