I Live To See the Day
I live to see the day when the enemy is our friend.
Where love can never end,
And broken hearts will mend.
I live to see the day when war will cease to be.
The lame will walk,
The blind will see,
And we'll come together,
You and me.
I live to see the day when the world no longer sees in black and white,
And the beauty of color is revealed,
And diversity is a good thing.
Love will melt the coldhearted, and fix the broken.
To happiness, a smile will be the token.
I live to see the day when the enemy is our friend,
Where love can never end,
And broken hearts will mend.
