Summer Loving
Sweet springtime rain has come to pass us by
My, my, now summer is here oh how time just flies
For that woman swings them hips in that summertime breeze
Oh lord how there's an activity goin' on between my knees
Feeling frisky once again, look what the cat dragged in
Energetic once more, youth restored I indulge in sin
Epiphany for this starving man please hear my plea
I'm a demon in need of screamin just to feel so free
* (Chorus) Here's the way we play all night and day
Oh sinners we all have become
But we can escape the dread of life
And have some summer fun*
Feeling blue what can I do for this lonely soul?
My mind is scattered hopes are shattered my heart 'tis in a hole
Washed away, out to sea oh is there hope for this broken heart?
I must press on, and win this game of love, itchin for my part
Now I'm back without a care for the troubles that may be
I say let the cards fall where they may oh lady can't you see?
That I needed your loving all this time let's fly towards the sun
And escape this ugly place and have some summer fun
(Chorus x 2)
