Twilight's Kiss
It was a crisp autumn night,
brilliant stars blanketed in twilight,
beautiful boy looks right at me,
guy of my whimsical dreams is he.
Eyes sparkling and teeth glowing,
he makes his move without slowing,
his lips press against mine,
for those few seconds we intertwine,
an explosion of fireworks interrupt,
surely, my heart is not going corrupt!
His voice is ever so sweetly soft,
the mutual feelings are aloft,
we close in a tight embrace,
there is no need for haste.
For my love is with he,
and here in my heart, he will be.
