IT - The anger in me

It took away the joy
It took away the fear
It took away everything
Now nothing is left here
It devoured my soul
It devoured the light
It leaves me empty
Empty as the night
It steals my love
It ignites my hate
Alone I sit
In darkness I wait
It took away the eyes
That gave my the will to see
It fills me up with shadows
It's what makes me...me
