Death of a Friend
Death comes to us in time
And to most that is fine
But when it comes to one so young
And their heart’s song is not sung
It leaves their friends
Who wee there until the end
Wondering why God why
And then they start to cry
The friends all care
And it wasn’t fair
Maybe it was there time
That doesn’t make their death fine
The death of a friend hurts
And the tears don’t ever work
Next comes the unbearable pain
And the sense of more loss then gain
That until your end
With the death of a friend
