Darren's Poem
I truly don't believe there could be another/
 Just like you.
Someone who could make my heart jump and scatter/
 Like you do.
Or someone who, on the slightest whim,
Could make me laugh or cry
Or someone who, for, if asked,
 I would gladly die

I don't know what you do to me.
I've quit trying to figure it out.
 It's all just a mystery-
 Something I can't live without.

I never believed in love at first sight
Until you walked into my life
And turned the whole thing upside-down
You flipped my freaking world around

I never used to stick to one guy
 It's way too hard-
 I like to lie
And tell them they're the only one
But it was true with you, hun

You drive me crazy like no one else
And usually I can help myself
But I'm a damsel in distress when it comes to you/
 A Cinderella
 With a missing shoe

I guess what I'm just trying to say is
I love you more, day by day

 You make me angry,
 You make me sad
 But most of all
 You make me glad
 You drive me mad
 You make me sane
And I wish that you would use your brain
You seem to, when I'm feeling dumb
And I try to make myself feel numb
But your smile is just so hard to resist
It reminds me of that time
 We kissed
