You and me, love
we’re just stuck like glue
and I thought you should know
no matter how far I go
my heart belongs to you
Though our worlds are miles apart
I'll never leave your side
our feet may travel down different trails
but you're always on my mind
Keep on grinning, ear to ear
I'm only gone a while
all too soon I'll be homeward bound
so miss me with a smile
But should there ever come a time
when you feel far away
just listen to your beating heart
forever there I'll stay.
