Baby Noah
A beauty that isn’t rare;
It makes the world shine bright.
My mind fills with care,
And everything feels so right.
Reaching up his little arm,
As I bend down to lift.
How could anyone ever do harm,
To such a precious gift?
I look at him and this is what I see;
His eyes, such a beautiful blue
He’s smiling and laughing at me.
I smile and laugh at him too.
He begins to drift away,
Into a baby’s dreams,
For now, he’s done with play,
He’s at peace; it beseems.
