Hateful Love
We kiss, you cry
We hug, I run
Uninterrupted, we argue
we fight with words
over the phone or in person
I try to help, but you push away
Now we're apart, struggling to be friends
we talk but its not right,
it doesn't feel the same
so I'm on my way now,
learning as I go that I am imperfect,
And this love, no matter how hateful, it was still love.
