Flaws and all
I look into the mirror
Want me to tell you what I see?
I see flaws and everything in between
staring right back at me.
Everyday is the same process
of trying to cover up the flaws
But I still don't feel like it's enough
I'm just hiding behind these walls
I put a mask, a cover, a front
trying to live up to the expectations
I lie, I deceive, and cheat
I'm just human, I don't have explanations.
I push people away
and hurt them before they hurt me
I say things I don't mean
Just because I don't want them to see
So look at me and tell me what you see
Do you see the lies and the make belives?
Or do you see what everyone else sees?
A fake crafted version of the very flawed me.
