I'm going to lie
I’m going to lie to you,
Many nights ago it didn’t matter
Feathers, Egyptian cotton ,cologne
It only made it sadder,
Infusion-confusion-delusion
Seduction in its highest illusion,
I’m going to lie to you,
The story doesn’t make sense,
Why would you give the kiss on your lips
To someone who calls you b****?
Why would you swear on a love
That would probably make you drink rum,
Why would you sing a real cute song
When it’ll leave you real drunken up?
Good old sweet talk, blasphemy
Translates to philosophy,
Yet we consume it like it’s holy water,
It’s not uncommon really
It just merely makes you feel silly,
Wasn’t I going to lie to you?
A tale of an ever mad woman
That leaves suicidal notes on her oven,
Cupcakes of cherry she makes there
Pleasurable, inevitable, like reading a letter,
Eaten all the time were they ever
Substantial addiction whenever,
The taste was old news after awhile
Bored of her flavor she was in exile,
Whatever happened to her is another story
But as a good lie goes, her ending was boring.
