The Cycle
Memories are constantly born and die.
Time winds its course regardless of events.
Everyday, one simultaneously must say hello and goodbye.
There are many events both good and bad,
However, the black and white is a lie.
Some bring sadness and/or bliss,
Emotions run amok.
As one looks back, there is something always amiss.
To keep up with time, one must look to the future,
only occasionally referring to the past.
Reason blended with hope can help progress,
despite the fact things never last.
For all are forced to march through time,
it is the individual for whom the dice are cast.
