I Stand Alone

I stand alone
As I watch the sun rise
Dew drops on my petals
Make me damp.
I stand alone
As I watch the people walk by me
Hoping and praying each one won't pick me
I pray that the people
Won't notice me.
I stand alone
As the wind blows me around
I can see that I really do
stand alone.
Everyone else has been
Picked and I have been
Left all alone
All by myself.
Now that I'm all alone
I wish that someone
Would come and pick me too.
I stand alone
Wishing I were dead
When suddenly
Someone walks up
And picks me.
