Tripped MAG
She does not blame the earthquake for the destruction of her home
Or the condition of her grandmother.
It did not mean to rip the house apart, leaving nothing behind
But pain and suffering.
It was only an accident that the roof collapsed on Nana;
The earthquake didn’t mean to do it.
It didn’t know whose lives it might take
And whose lives it would ruin.
The earth only tripped,
Leaving rumbling quakes of disaster
To ruin everything they had made for themselves.
The whole town suffered together,
Rosa knew she wasn’t alone.
Yet she felt alone.
