The World Outside My Window
I look out the window,
 And oh my eyes,
 I see something,
 That I do despise.

 I see the people,
 Whom ignore one another,
 And then the others,
 Who call everyone brother.

 I see the cars,
 Who pollute our air,
 Like they don’t want,
 Or need to care.

 I see a lonely tree,
Left to say “here I am!”
 Sitting on the hilltop,
While people pass who don’t give a damn.

 I see industrialization,
 In all it’s glory,
 And the shrinking of wildlife,
 Which hits me sorely.

I see the world for what it is,
 This overflow of life,
 And while this happens,
All we know is our own strife.
