a mother's love
A mother’s love is given freely, even when we cannot see it;
We are born with tender grace, and held in arms with care;
They lay us down for our naps, we wake up and the first we see,
Our mother’s arms reaching down, loving us openly;
Nurturing comes easily to mom, hugs are given freely;
Kisses always abound, and their hearts are never empty;
Stepping stones can’t break you bones, but words often hurt mothers;
Hearts are easily bruised, more than the toes you used to step on;
Now that you have reached maturity, and understand the beating of a heart,
You have had yours broken, and needed it mended, by your mother’s arms;
The first thing we are taught, when we are children;
The best things in life are freely given.

I really love it! It encaptures all the lovely, tender moments we have with our mothers and my heart gets warm just reading this :-) 5/5!
If you read just 2 pgs of my horror novel called, 'If I kissed you', and comment/rate, I'll do the same for 2 more of your articles btw ;-)
