Daniel
I've often found it extremely amusing
How my little brother, Daniel B.,
Is always affecting my life so very much
In ways I've just recently seen.
Yes, sometimes you get rather annoying, D,
When boy-made sirens fill the air,
All day long without an hour's respite
Those abominations blare!
But you've also helped my patience grow
Thicker than before,
Because I never can stay mad at you
Longer than five minutes, no more.
You've got many sides to your character, you know,
There's the explosions and also the wisecracks,
There's the times when you cuddle on the couch with a book,
And the times when you're air-softing the cats.
Your gross sense of humor makes the rest of us sigh,
And your endless energy makes us groan,
But thanks for being my little brother anyway;
Thanks for the joy you add to our home.
~Your Loving and Amused Sister
