Suit up young man,
Go do your part,
A war’s going on and there’s no time for art.
Put down your flute,
Pick up your gun,
Another young soldier to join in the fun
Go kiss your folks,
Marry your flame,
Uncle Sam’s calling he’s calling your name.
Step right in line,
Join in the fray,
We’re marching off now but we’ll come back some day.
