Reflections Unknown
Whom did you reflect today? Recall!
Oh mirror that hangs there on the wall
Though many faces you have seen
And many times the same have been
To look, they have changed, one and all.

Filling the room with your shameless sprawl
You care not of the souls you spall
But souls, exposed, cry in a desperate scene
Whom did you reflect today? Recall!

You answer not; though you stand tall
And break us open as if a maul
There lies between you and I a screen
Behind which you smile, gloating, pristine
Refusing to answer my shameful call
Whom did you reflect today? Recall!
