Remember December
I hear a sad song playing,
And people are saying
That that's impossible.
It must be in my head.
But I hear it.
And it makes me remember December
And all that happened then.
I try to forget
But once in a while
Something reminds me
Of those long winter nights.
I go back
And I can't stay in the present.
But nothing stops the ticking clock.
You think of the present,
I think of the past.
And I love it.
And that's what scares me the most.
