My Thorn, My Rose
Some things are better left untold,
Things that never have to be said
Sometimes we have to sit and wait...
Have to keep our heads held high
While the world falls a part in our footsteps
Maybe we have choices...
But what happens with our mistakes?
Not always can we forget them
Try as we might it won't be done
Sometimes we must suffer an abundance of pain
Before the goodness comes to life
We might even have to cry over loved ones
To realize what's been put into place
We don't need to speak in rymes to make sense
Don't play games
With the master of them
Play games to master all that you can
Won't that be something?
To see the sun rise over a pool of water
To see a rainbow glitter in the mist of rain
To watch the firelight dance around you
To laugh and to love
To hear what they don't say...
Sometimes what we do know,
Is all we need to know
