The Things Around Us
I put a piece of paper in front of you and a pencil in your hand,
I leave you in a room of nothing and a tell you to write.
You can’t, for there is nothing to write about.
I put you on a beach with many different events and people.
I say write and the pencil starts to move.
Who will you write about?
How will your mind extend the story?
Too make a happy ending
Or one of tragedy.
You are the writer,
You decide.
