"Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind." -Bertrand Russel

“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.”
― Plato

If there were such thing as Perfection,
That is who you'd be.
Perfection,
Because you are the greater part of me.
Not in the sense of being perfect,
But in the sense of perfecting the flawed.
You came to me from Heaven,
An answered prayer from God.
I was once in a place of Darkness,
Constantly in Fear.
My soul seemed always empty,
And my eyes shed many tears.
A part of my mending process,
God decided you'd become.
Who ever thought you'd be the One
For I to fall in Love.

I wrote this for my husband for Valentine's Day. Enough said, right?
