Ring of Memories
I eye my ring and think of him
There for me, last time I seen him
He was in a casket, you at my side
On this day you caught my eye
I knew I’d love you all my days
a lifetime dedicated to your praise
each night full of a 3 word phrase
Each morning, your beauty a maze
Lost in your eyes, brown and alive
But I also saw pain, deep down inside
In my arms you’ve cried and laughed
As did I , only in your lap
