You're Princess
I watched you say goodbye on a hot summer day
I knew you had to go but I was afraid
Afraid that you’d leave and never come back
Do you remember those days where you’d pick me up and twirl me around?
Call me your princess and have me wear a crown?
I hope you love me just the same now
I hope I’m still your princess and will never let you down
Remember me daddy when you go home
I hope you know its okay to go
Because one day I too will come home
We’ll meet again and you’ll twirl me around
You’ll call me your princess and have me wear a crown
You will always be my daddy
And I will always be your little girl.
