My sixteenth summer
It was my sixteenth summer.
My sixteenth year.
I was lost and naive
And I was only fear.
Until I started to live
To see life with these eyes.
And all of it's brokenness
All of it's lies.
And then I understood.
The meanings between the lines.
The answers that were in front of my face
And the answers I would never find.
I understood.
And I understand.
Life has meaning...
When love holds your hand.
