Know me better, God
December 7, 2012
I came to Jesus as I was,
and you lord, loved the poor.
I was worried, wounded, and
sad.
Many’s the day I thought I wouldn’t
be able to go on.
How long O’ God, how long?
You gave me strength, made me
glad.
There is going to be hope,
so I gave myself to
you gentle God.
It made me
want to live a christian life
to show you, God
I was thankful.
You were my way,
my truth,
my light.
All the evil I had done,
you allowed me to see this
day.
Preach it.
I made myself right with you
God.
