Astray
It’s funny how the people once in your life go astray.
Changing in personality, growing meaner ever day.
Forcing you to wonder if what you did was correct.
Can’t they turn around and eliminate my regret?
Rumors shouldn’t be started and spread for a year.
Things shouldn’t be said to me to inflict fear.
People shouldn’t insult or cause harm.
Sorry being nice set off your alarm.
You say you’re a good person. Kind and innocent?
I guess all the things you said was not what you meant?
Just move your legs and walk in the other direction.
With you in my vicinity I can’t have perfection.
Don’t speak to me.
I have nothing to say.
Set me free,
By going astray.
