New Becomes Old
The new becomes old
 No longer fresh
 A story already told
 Time added to flesh
 The present becomes past
 Replaced by another
 The milestone at last
 At heart, younger
 Bid greetings to the new
 Embrace the never before
 Prepare themselves, very few
 Spearheaded evermore
 “Keep me in your memories”
 The Old’s final cry
 As he fades respectfully
 Still ringing his final goodbye.
