Don't Forget
When your day has been crushed, flipped, and scattered,
Or you feel like you’re broken, beaten, and battered,
You think to yourself: “there’s no way to cope.”
You’ve lost all faith, given up hope.
Don’t forget: all is not lost, ever to be found.
You have to remember to keep your feet on the ground.
When you come to a place where the roads have split,
When you find yourself where you know you don’t fit,
Don’t hang your head; tilt your chin towards the sky.
Live each day to the fullest, don’t let one slip by.
Don’t forget to keep face facing up, and your feet on the floor.
Because you’re worth more than that, much, much, more.
Remember that in all that you do,
And don’t forget: i love you.
