Goodbye Sunrise
I see its rays reaching out through the sky
Each one causing my heart to ask why
 Why must you go?
 Oh please oh please no
He leaves me lying in our bed
 Replaying each word he said
“I really must leave here now”
 But tell me how?
Its bright shining face peaks over the trees
I still don’t understand what he sees
I see a day we can spend together
I see the beginning of forever
The sky is illuminated redish pink
He waved goodbye with a wink
 Why must you go?
 Oh please oh please no
He took one last look at me
Then I saw what he could see
The sun was on its way
Here was the beginning of today
We can be together no more
Oh how my heart is still so soar
