My Achilles heel --has wronged me
Once --and that is all it shall
It has left me half a man--
And I have yet to tell
Of where it is this heel
Resides on someone such as me
On the inside where the hurt
Can scar one’s eternity
I sit upon a throne of lies
That festers when I speak
Oblivious-- to the contempt
Of those who walk beneath
