Heartbroken
Hour after hour, I lay in bed awake.
Every now and then I change sides.
After three hours, I am still awake.
Ravens outside my window sing.
Time goes by so slowly.
Beating of my heart diminishes.
Rain outside quiets down the ravens.
Knowing I can't have you saddens me.
Entire nights I spend like this; thinking what could have been us...
Never will I forget you.
