A Tree's Laugh
Madeline giggles,
Bubbly like the brook
That runs though the back woods
As we tromp though the tingling
Water, clouding its mirror
With the deep brown disrupted sand.
We breath the hues of the
Surrounding trees as they radiate
The splendor of their newly bloomed colors.
The childish wind delights itself as it plays
Knots into our hair, un-taming it further.
We laugh as it flutters on to tickle
At the tall trees vanity, and for a moment
They release their pride to laugh with us.
