Could You
Could you just walk on by,
Not even turning your head to look back,
At the girl you once knew so well?
The girl who’s world at one time revolved around you?
Could you do that to her,
And feel as though you did the right thing?
Or do you miss her so much that you would stop to talk?
Ask her questions such as is she O.K,
Even though you know she’s not,
Because she’s been missing you,
But could you?
Could you actually work up the courage to do that for her?
She would like that more than anything in the world.
If you would just let her know that still care.
That’s all she needs to move on,
So it’s up to you to help her,
And you know that you owe it to her,
Yet it all comes down to this,
Could you?
