"We stop looking for Monsters under our beds when We find them inside of us."
-Joker(Batman)

The rain slowly falls from the sky
It's dark and cold as the clouds move by
No good feelings; everything's lost
She knows what her mistake has cost
She doesn't even want to try

She does nothing as days bleed past
Her broken heart she tries to cast
She looks a=outside as she starts to tear
And now her crying is very near
She wants him to be there at last

She doesn't think her family feels pain
It's hard for her to keep going sane
She hopes it's his laugh they remember
He has been gone since November
His memories crush her like chains

Suddenly its sunny, it's a sign
He's gone but happy, this life's mine
All these chains just need to be freed
There's no longer a need to bleed
What heals everyone is time

This poem is about how time heals all wounds, although not completely. It's also what how some people think after a close death.
