I Have a Dream
(Beau Bête)

The future, the beast that I fear the most.
By far, my largest fear I have known,
Would be the man to steal away my father.

Four days to pass then I shall meet you in the wind.
July the 28th we will wander down that road.
Leave to the beautiful beast that I’ve feared most of my life.
I hope that you will see what the two of us have become
When you have finished and are all done.

How far is our future from home?
Many miles away from the dream that I fear will never be.
But please I urge of you to enjoy these memories
For we won’t stay long once we have gone.

I seem to dream more than I pray,
Of something I hope to be more than anything else.
I’ll come down for a little while to see where I’ve been
And stand on my feet
To beg for the need
Of my passion to be freed.

O’ brother where art thou’?
Had you not been heard of to my son’s
How far away would they be?

The Black Slax he wore were the Rocket to the Road.
Haley was the start to what I had wanted to be a part of.
Chris taught us the peace and introduced new strings.
Then along the way I found Mark,
Where I sought the independence of music.
The Monsters and Men, who so kindly led
My baby Marcus to bed
While his Sons wrote the words
In my head.
