Sunglasses
I hate when you wear your pitch-black sunglasses.
You hide your beautiful and truthful eyes.
Oh babe, I hate that I don’t know when you lie.
I love you for who you are.
What is there to hide?
Babe, please be honest.
I am really trying my best.
I am trying to keep us together
Didn’t you say you want that too?
But it seems those pitch-black sunglasses on your eyes are being a cover.
You smile but I don’t really see
If it’s reaching your eye and that if you truly love me.
It seems you are blocking me out,
And no I don’t want your level-headedness
I just want you to please take of f your pitch-black sunglasses.
