Bliss
We sit and listen,
quiet now,
to the hush and murmur of water on rocks, and the sweet secret whisper of a kiss.
We lie and feel,
be still now,
to the dance and shimmy of sunshine on our skin, and gentle touch of wandering hands.
We stay and watch,
look now,
the trees bow and wave to greet us, and your eyes sparkle and smile back to them.
We fall and spin,
take my hand now,
I'm dizzy with love, my heart skips, this slow decent into bliss.
We run and chase,
slow down now,
to catch our breath, I inhale your air, and we become one, with each other and the earth.
